Since its introduction in late 2005, the WoodStraw® wood-strand erosion control material (ECM) has achieved steady growth in markets across the western United States for mine reclamation, post-wildfire erosion and dust control, highway construction and other applications. The patented WoodStraw® ECM technology was developed in response to a national need for a highly effective long-strand erosion control material to replace agricultural straw on forests, rangelands and sensitive sites. The material is produced at the headquarter facility in Auburn, Washington and discussions have begin to establish other regional production sites.
